The average U.S. mayor of a major city is 58 years old.
The median age of school board members is 59.
Meanwhile, more than half of all Americans are millennials or younger.
The people predominantly in charge – Baby Boomers, most of whom are white men – have perpetuated a system that has privileged them.
How do we change this?
By recruiting, training and ELECTING young, diverse progressives who not only are more representative of our country, but are passionate about supporting their communities.
