Today we mark 22 years since the 9/11 attacks. In that time, an entire generation has grown up, and it is our duty to share with them the stories of what occurred -- both the tragedies we suffered and the extraordinary acts of bravery we witnessed in response.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum helps us share those stories with the world. It stands as a living monument to all those killed. It's also a testament to the compassion we showed one another, the resolve we demonstrated to the world, and the unity that gave us hope and strength in the wake of unimaginable loss.

Every September 11th is a chance to fulfill our promise to never forget.
