Youth Unite at CMU

This summer held the first ever UNITE conference for NextGen students. The vision for UNITE was in its name: To inspire students to unite through worship and mission, create opportunities for students to use their voices, encourage students to be kin(g)dom workers in their local communities and equip a generation of young people to share the love of Jesus for the transformation of the world. Above all, NextGen Ministries wanted students to see the power of the United Methodist connection at work. Read more here

Disaster Response Devotional Guide
In every place where a disaster has occurred, several things have always rung true. First, disasters have a way of changing our perspectives and our priorities. Secondly, we can more clearly see our needs and the needs of others. Finally, disasters remind us that God is here, in every present moment, in every devastation and in every sigh of relief. As you participate in disaster response, whether it’s your first opportunity or one of many, our hope is that this handbook will help you reflect on the ways you will encounter God at work and prepare your heart to minister to all those you meet.
