Today, we remember the 3,000 lives lost on 9/11, and those whose lives were changed in the aftermath.

Twenty two years later, the bravery and selflessness of the first responders who raced towards danger remains a beacon of hope and resilience in the face of unspeakable horror. We honor them, their families, and their continuing struggle.

Today and always, their memory and legacy makes me proud to be an American.
