John, this week is Hypo Awareness Week!
If you live with diabetes, or support someone who does, you’re probably no stranger to hypos. You may feel as though others don’t quite understand what ‘having a hypo’ really means. We know that explaining your symptoms can feel draining, but making sure that the people around you can spot the signs of a hypo could help keep you safe when they happen.
We have plenty of resources available to help you, and those around you, to understand what hypos are, the symptoms to look out for and how to treat them.
Want to let other people know what a hypo feels like? Start by sharing this video with them.
And don’t forget, if you’re in need of some extra support, you can always turn to our friendly Helpline team by phone or by email. |
