On Saturday Governor Wes Moore, Baltimore's Mayor Brandon Scott, AFSCME's National President Lee Saunders and AFSCME Maryland Council 3's President Patrick Moran joined a #StaffTheFrontLines hiring event in Baltimore to highlight the thousands of good union jobs available in Maryland.
Today in particular, on September 11, we honor public sector workers like the members of AFSCME. “When the unthinkable happened, AFSCME members did what AFSCME members do," Saunders said in 2019.
