The crashing of the planes into the World Trade Center buildings is a memory I will never forget. The sadness of the losses we experienced as a nation is forever in my heart. The hope that found its way into our spirits helped us heal as a nation.
As we commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, we remember the importance of justice and the need to stand united in times of adversity.
On this solemn day, we honor the lives lost and the heroes who emerged from the ashes. We reflect on the resilience of our nation and the unity that defined our response to that fateful day. September 11th serves as a powerful reminder of the values we hold dear—freedom, justice, and unity.
Will you join me in committing to preserving our American values?
As the Loudoun Commonwealth’s Attorney, I have dedicated my career to upholding these values and fighting for justice, fairness, and the rights of all individuals. But our work is far from over. Just as our nation stood strong in the wake of tragedy, we too must stand strong against those who seek to divide us and undermine our values.
Today, we invite you to join us in honoring the memory of 9/11 by taking a stand for community. We have initiated a petition grounded in kindness and calling for the preservation and promotion of our core values—freedom, justice, and unity.
By signing our petition, you declare your commitment to upholding the principles that make our communities stronger and more just.
Our goal is to gather the voices of our community and send a powerful message to those who seek to send us backwards that we will not waver in our pursuit of justice and we will not be divided.
We will treat each other with kindness and love and embrace our humanity.
