Hey folks, I’m here to give you a quick update on our campaign!

The team and I had a FANTASTIC time at the Lynnwood Block Fair this weekend. With lots of foot traffic by our table we had so many great conversations and got to hand out campaign materials.

Next Sunday (a week from today) we’ll be down at the Seattle Center for the Rally to End Fossil Fuels, co-hosted by 350 Org and Extinction Rebellion Seattle. This is a coordinated event with sister rallies happening all over the country – even the world! – ahead of the U.N.’s Climate Ambition Summit on September 20th.

My team and I will be on the ground to support the rally and, of course, to canvas the hell out of that crowd!

If you’re planning to turn out for the rally (next Sunday, 2pm), look for our bright green CALL FOR CONGRESS signs and we’ll have one of these for you:

Labor Day is behind us, and campaigns are kicking into high gear. The next two months are critical for us. We’ve got to be present for as many events as possible before the holidays arrive and the weather gets worse.

This is prime time for direct voter contact, and we’ve got to make the most of it. So if you can pitch in today, I would really appreciate your support.

Your contributions go towards printing campaign materials, buying supplies for volunteers, gas money (it’s a big district, lol), and when we start raising enough, paying the staff we’ll need to win this race.

Any amount you’re able to give today will make it all possible and give us an edge heading into the Fall. I appreciate you all!
