For me, back to school season means doubling down on my fight to improve public education in our state.

Republicans are diverting funding from public schools, attacking free or reduced lunch programs, banning books, refusing to take action on gun violence in our schools, and injecting their hateful and revisionist political agenda into our children’s curriculums.

Our kids deserve better, and it’s up to us to act now. Will you add your name and stand with me to demand better for our public education system?
 

As the daughter of two educators, I know just how important it is that we continue to invest and improve our public education system, not turn our backs on it.

That’s why I’ve always worked to increase support for schools right here in Alabama, to ensure every student can strive for academic excellence.
