My grandfather, who was born in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico, earned his U.S. citizenship in World War 2 after receiving 2 purple hearts fighting Nazis in Bastogne.
My mom, Rebecca Chavez, thought she would spend her whole life in a one-room hut with a dirt floor in Juarez, Mexico– but faith, hard work, and American opportunity allowed her to earn a prestigious job as a flight attendant during the glamorous peak of air travel in the 70s and 80s.
My family fought tooth and nail for the American Dream so that future generations like me could have a better life, and I plan on making that up to them in full.
My name is Gabe Evans. I fought for our country in the Middle East as a US Army officer flying Black Hawk helicopters, served my community as a police lieutenant, and fought wildfires with Colorado’s National Guard.
I’m officially announcing my run for U.S. Congress and I’m humbly asking for your support.
