Democrats in the House are pushing to pass an assault weapons ban, but McCarthy and MAGA Republicans are doing everything to prevent it.

Gun violence prevention champion Lucy McBath is speaking out on the need to pass it:

“Children should not have to fear for their lives or plan for how to defend themselves against shooters armed with assault rifles.”

She’s absolutely right. We need federal action on this, and we need it NOW.

That’s why we’re collecting signatures in support of an assault weapons ban to prove to House Republicans that the majority of Americans support this.
