Friend,
“The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”
That’s what Elon Musk tweeted last year when he decided to reinstate our twice-impeached former insurrectionist-in-chief to X (FKA Twitter). The Latin phrase literally means “the voice of people is the voice of god.”
However, last month, we tried to run ads on X and got blocked. Our team was confused at first, but now, the math is mathing: Elon Musk and his thinly veiled right-wing beliefs are actually preventing Democrats like Eric from fundraising on the social media outlet.
Apparently, the voice of the people is only important to Musk when that “voice” is inciting attacks on our nation’s capital, spreading transphobia, or spewing white supremacist nonsense.
Look, digital fundraising is one of the most important ways campaigns like ours can connect with voters and donors across the country, and after this news, we clearly can’t bank on X to give us the fundraising traction we need. Can you chip in a couple of bucks so we can keep running full speed ahead to re-elect Joe Biden, flip the House, and keep MAGA extremism out of office (and off your timelines) in 2024?

Big Tech’s Big Baby won’t stop us from keeping Eric in Congress, friend.
