With November fast approaching, I’d be remiss if I didn’t do absolutely everything in my power to make sure that Democrats take back our State Legislature. Virginia’s upcoming election is getting national attention because we are the lone southern state that hasn’t restricted or banned abortion since Roe was overturned.
Current Virginia GOP leadership wants to make this election about bathrooms and books. It’s not. It’s about deciding on a future for our commonwealth that will either nurture Virginians or restrict them.
From reproductive freedom to education to safety, there is a lot on the ballot.
