John, do you know the story of the DCCC blacklist?
In 2018, AOC had defeated the 4th most powerful Democrat in the House and corporate Democrats were reeling.
The DCCC went to extreme lengths to stop progressives like AOC from ever winning again. They blacklisted any vendors that supported primary challengers to Democratic incumbents, to weaken our movement.
The DCCC wanted to block working-class progressives like AOC from critical campaign resources and technology. Of course, they had no issue using corporate-friendly firms that bust unions, work with Big Oil, and even lobby for the GOP’s right-wing agenda.
It’s not right, John. The DCCC ended the blacklist after it became a PR nightmare, but they laid the groundwork for groups like AIPAC and the Moderate PAC that want to take down our candidates.
We’re not like the DCCC.
Corporate Democrats take money from Wall Street, Big Oil, Big Pharma, payday loan companies, and union-busters. It’s clear: Justice Democrats will fight for the people, the Democratic establishment will work for their corporate donors.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
