Elise Releases Statement on Historic Surge in Illegal Immigration at Northern Border in NY-21
Earlier this week, Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia announced the historic surge of illegals across the Northern Border, some of those directly entering our district!
“At the Swanton Sector in Upstate New York on the Northern Border, we saw an over 1300% increase in illegal immigrant encounters this July compared to July 2020 when President Trump was in office.” - Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia
Elise said:
"Joe Biden's Far Left open border policies have caused our Northern Border to see an unprecedented and historic surge in illegal immigration and Kathy Hochul's "Sanctuary State" policies have further incentivized this dangerous surge. Now we have reports of murder and rapes committed by illegal immigrants in Upstate New York. Enough is enough. It is time for Joe Biden to secure our Southern and Northern Border and the quickest way to do that is for Chuck Schumer to pass and Biden to sign into law House Republican's Secure the Border Act, which is the strongest border security bill in history and would put an end to the Biden border crisis."

The Bank Your Vote initiative is a pledge to encourage Republican voters to make their voices heard through early vote options.

The results are in– congratulations, Celeste! Celeste served as chief legal counsel for Rep. Chris Stewart, who has served the people of Utah’s 2nd district for over 10 years. In Congress, Celeste will fight to secure our border, protect our religious freedoms, defend the 2nd amendment, stop out-of-control spending, rein in inflation, and fight the radical abortion agenda of the left.
