Since you’ve been one of my strongest supporters, I wanted to personally reach
out and give you a quick update on where we stand heading into the end of
February. 


I won’t beat around the bush — our campaign is surging, but we need to keep up
the pressure on my opponent. We can’t take anything for granted over the next 9
months. 


Our success has put a target on our backs. 


We’re running neck and neck in the polls and we outraised him by more than a
million dollars last quarter. But this only means that special interest groups
and national Democrats are going to pour even more money into our race to
protect my liberal career politician opponent. 


We can’t let this increased attention from special interests silence our
voices.  


Our campaign is going to need more resources if we want to compete from now
until Election Day 2020. That’s why we set a small-dollar, grassroots
fundraising goal of $83,000 before midnight on February 29.
