In recognition of Grandparents' Day
For all the love they share

Dear Friend,
Today is Grandparents' Day. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the grandparents in our families, and worldwide, and acknowledge the love they share with their grandchildren — and the enduring influence they have on our lives.
They are hand holders. Cookie bakers. Storytellers. The songs they have sung, the joy they have shared and the kisses they have left on cheeks and foreheads stay with us forever.
Throughout our journey, grandparents give life lessons, offer unwavering strength, share wisdom, provide care and offer support. If we become grandparents ourselves, we have the privilege of passing on these priceless gifts to another generation.
On this day for honoring grandparents, we also think of the families who have lost grandparents to Alzheimer's disease, as well as those who are now living with the disease or caregiving for a loved one. We commit ourselves to working together, so that, one day, we can achieve an end to Alzheimer's and no family has to face the pain and loss of Alzheimer's again.
Friend, if you have lost someone to the disease or are impacted as a caregiver, family member or friend, we're here for you today and every day, 365 days a year. Our compassionate dementia experts are ready to answer your questions and provide support when you call our free 24/7 Helpline at (800.272.3900), and you can find online support and community resources at alz.org/help-support.
We're grateful for friends like you who make it possible for us to continue our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
You make our community stronger with your generous support and every action you take. We wish you and yours a very special Grandparents' Day.
From all of us,
Alzheimer's Association
P.S. In recognition of Grandparents' Day, please consider a gift to advance Alzheimer's research and help provide care and support. If you make a gift today, it can be matched, up to a total of $200,000, until October 31 during our Fall $200,000 Match Challenge.
