Hey, friends!

I love to talk about our early days when we were starting out at NE Tarrant Tea Party.  I tell the story of how we switched 4 State Reps with tea party candidates, and how we sued the IRS and won, and how every media outlet came to us any time they did a political article.  We were enjoying great favor.  But I always end that story by saying, "It wasn't us." 

Come on... we were all rookies! We didn't know what we were doing.  We had great success and great media coverage because God had a plan for us to make an impact in Texas.  I'll never steal that glory from Him.

And I see it happening again.  It may be on a smaller scale, but it's happening.  Last week when we got on The War Room with Stephen Bannon, it was "by accident".  He wanted a female added to the line-up, and I was in the right place at the right time.  I called Fran to join me and off we went.  As a result, we received 100s and 100s of new sign-ups for our social media, email, and texts, and thankfully some new donors as well! 

With the Paxton trial, TTP is very visible and involved, so we're getting a lot of media requests and podcast interviews.  We're able to shed light on issues that need attention, and that's awesome.  We're also getting a lot of attention due to our exciting plans for "True Texans Taking Charge" in the 2024 Election season.

Here are a couple interviews Fran and I did this week that you might like.

• The Crude Truth interview talking about the significance of saving Texas in order to save the WORLD!  (Ok, I might be exaggerating a touch, but not much!)  Fran and I had a lot of fun talking to Rey on this one.
• And here's a little NBC-5 coverage not of me or Fran, but of a few of our dedicated True Texans who were in Austin for the opening of the trial.  Great job, ladies!

What's funny is that the more coverage we get, the more our enemies freak out.  They try to spread lies and downplay us as insignificant, but we just laugh.  Don't they see how silly they look? If we're so insignificant, why do they keep writing about us? 🤣🤣🤣 My goodness, it is SO fun to live rent-free in their heads!  Am I allowed to enjoy it this much? It's all about you guys.  True Texans show up in greater numbers than any other organization.  Why?  Because True Texans are just that... TRUE Texans, and they care about preserving our culture and our state for the next generation. 

Here's a big thank you to all those showing up, donating, making calls, getting trained, and spreading the word!  It takes all of us, and I'm super proud to run with the best Texas has to offer.

Plus, the laughter is good for my soul!

Challengers To the Dirty Dozen

I know most of you have watched The Texas Heist: Do Democrats Run The Texas House? I only mention it again because we have a ton of new subscribers after our exposure on Bannon's show; plus, you won't understand the Dirty Dozen until you've seen the film.  So watch it!

In the documentary, the Dirty Dozen are named.  These are the worst of the worst sneaky, conniving, spineless, back-stabbing, moral-less, enemies of Texas in the state legislature.

The good news is... several already have challengers, and I will introduce you to these candidates week by week. It's gonna take personal sacrifice y'all, but we've got to get them across the finish line.

1. The first week I featured David Lowe, who is challenging Stephanie Klick.
2. Last week I intro'd Dennis London, who is challenging Justin Holland.
3. This week, put your focus on one of my very good friends, Mike Olcott.  Mike and his wife Marika have been activists with us since the beginning - over 14 years! They are tried and true, and they will NOT cave to the establishment, I assure you.  I can't even imagine how fantastic it would be to have Mike in da House! Lord, we lift up all of the TTP events coming up.  We thank you in advance for putting specific purpose on each individual’s heart regarding how he/she can best serve YOU within the state of Texas and TTP.  Please bless those in Austin that are attending the Ken Paxton impeachment trial with an extra portion of your protection, peace and energy that surpasses all human understanding.  Let YOUR WILL be done and bring all evil motivations and actions into Your all-revealing light.  As we prepare to travel for the Constitutional Bootcamp classes and other events, please protect us like only You can do.  We thank you and give you all the glory.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Fran's Friday Message

This week's Friday message is all about Citizen Advocates doing hard things.  Not that it's hard to make phone calls, show up at meetings, speak out - but sometimes doing those simple things requires sacrifice.  Sometimes you have to give up something else in order to engage in government.

But the effort is so worth it! And the rewards are so great!  I suggest that when we consider our own sacrifice, that we compare it to the sacrifices of the founding fathers.  They knew what they were getting into but they did it anyway.  Freedom was worth it!

True Texans Taking Charge

Remember, as part of our Election 2024 efforts, we are offering "How To" videos at our monthly meetings.

Last month you heard Luke Macias talk about How To Vet Candidates.  This month, attorney Warren Norred will talk about How To Start A PAC.  It's not nearly as exciting as working with candidates or fighting your school board, but doing those things without a PAC can get you in a world of legal hurt.  Just be smart, and do it the right way.  We're here to help.  Don't miss it!
