Endorsements

Bobby Bliatout for Congress

AAAFund proudly endorsed Bobby Bliatout for California's 22nd Congressional seat, against incumbent Devin Nunes. Bobby is the son of Hmong refugees, a former farmer, a cancer survivor and nonprofit healthcare leader. His leadership has earned him the endorsement of many California state elected officials and civil rights legend, Dolores Huerta.

“We are excited to be supporting a proven leader with courage, heart, and integrity,” said AAAFund California Chair and National Board Member Gautam Dutta. “Bobby will see to it that the entire community of the diverse 22nd District will be represented in Congress.”

Nina Ahmad for PA Auditor General

AAAFund is excited to endorse Nina Ahmad for Pennsylvania Auditor General. A Muslim Bangladeshi-American with a PhD in chemistry and years in public service, Ahmad would bring an emphasis on diversity, transparency, and data analytics to the fiscal watchdog position in the PA state government.

Clearinghouse Update

Presidential Campaign Calls

We've been talking to every major Presidential campaign about AAPI outreach strategies in our Clearinghouse calls. Organizing in our community is more visible than ever!

Last week, we spoke with the Sanders and Buttigieg campaigns about their plans to better engage our AAPI community. As of now, our calls have featured staff from the Bloomberg, Yang, Klobuchar, Warren, Harris, Biden, and Booker campaigns to discuss their AAPI organizing strategies. Almost every operation has hired a national AAPI organizer and many have translated election materials into several languages.
