Earlier today I met in the Twin Cities with the Minnesota Roughriders conservative group and I was pleased to share with them how far we’ve come in just seven months. While Republicans only control the House in Washington without conservative partners in the Senate or White House, we are making strides and doing all we can to pass legislation showing Americans what conservative policy looks like, and putting pressure on Democrats to join us in choosing a better path for our great country.
Last year before the 2022 election, House Republicans made a promise to America: Entrust us with the majority, and we will put America on a better path after two years of single-party control that succumbed to radical, extreme, socialist policy that puts our nation in danger. We as you know won the majority in the House and in seven short months, we are passing real legislative solutions that put America first by strengthening our economy, defending our freedoms, ensuring our national security, and holding the Swamp accountable.
Among our promises kept includes eliminating the military vaccine mandate, repealing Biden’s army of 87,000 additional IRS agents, unleashing America’s energy independence, strengthening our border security, making sure our parents have a say in their children’s education, reclaiming billions of taxpayer dollars in unspent COVID funds, fully funding our veterans’ health care and benefits, and imposing congressional oversight to hold the Biden administration accountable. (And I didn’t even mention we kicked Ilhan Omar off the Foreign Affairs committee!).
