ICYMI: AMERICA’S MOST IMPORTANT ELECTIONS ARE HAPPENING IN VIRGINIA IN 2023

As we get closer to the November elections here in Virginia, Governor
Youngkin’s efforts to hold the Republican majority in the House and flip the
Senate continue to gain national attention.

People recognize what is at stake in just a couple of months. “I believe it is
the most important election in America. The reason is, we can demonstrate in 24
short months that a state that was completely controlled by the liberal left
can change direction,” Youngkin said recently

The far left recognizes it too.

After frantic calls to the White House, Virginia Democrats were handed a $1.5
million bailout from the DNC at Joe Biden’s direction. The far left is in full
panic mode

, as they understand their lack of vision for the Commonwealth in this election
stands in stark contrast to the unifying agenda being offered by Governor
Youngkin and Virginia Republicans.

Youngkin is also continuing to break fundraising records

in Virginia. Following the DNC’s panicked effort to prop up Virginia
Democrats, Youngkin announced he raised $3.3 million
<[link removed]> in August
alone. That is more than double what any previous Virginia governor raised in
an entire quarter and brings Youngkin’s fundraising total to $12 million since
March.

This comes as Youngkin announced a bus tour

across the Commonwealth to encourage Virginians to vote early through Secure

the upcoming elections.

As CNN reports

, “Youngkin has been out on the campaign trail and is making a big push for
early voting, which begins September 22.”

Youngkin and Virginia Republicans are devoting their time, energy, and
resources toward electing leaders to the General Assembly who will advance a
commonsense agenda to lower taxes, create jobs, empower parents, and give law
enforcement the tools and resources to keep Virginia safe.

A Republican trifecta in Virginia would be huge for Youngkin and his party
four years after Democrats won a trifecta in the state. Youngkin’s election
victory in 2021 went against conventional wisdom after President Biden won the
state by 10 points in 2020.

“It would be a tremendous political accomplishment for him to take a state
that had been trending very blue and turn it red,” said Bob Holsworth, a
veteran Virginia political analyst.

A recent Roanoke College poll found 51% of Virginians approve of Youngkin’s
job performance as governor, versus 40% job approval for President Biden, who
won the state by 10 points in 2020.

“He’s delivered on every campaign promise he’s been able to that the Democrats
haven’t blocked,” said Libby, 62, who lives in a Richmond suburb and sells
professional services and software.

FOX NEWS: No longer a Democrat stronghold, Virginia's 2023 elections could be
roadmap for GOP

Virginia is holding pivotal contests for legislative control in November, and
Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin hopes to boot Democrats from their last
stronghold in Richmond, where Democrats hold a slim majority in the state
Senate. If Youngkin is successful, the governor would be able push forward a
conservative agenda in a state that has been trending blue over the past two
decades.

"The most important election in the nation, I believe, is Virginia this year,"
Youngkin told Fox News Digital in a recent interview. "We are laser focused on
holding our House, winning our Senate."

victories

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin is leading a campaign this fall in his state that
is a model for Republicans to study across the country.

Virginia has off-year legislative elections, and he has taken on the challenge
of fighting to keep the House of Delegates and win the Senate.

Mr. Youngkin has offered his own time and prestige — and raised a lot of
resources — to bring together a professional team to maximize Republican
turnout this fall.
