Folks, I know this past weekend was a time full of sales and barbeques and time with family and friends, but I want to take a moment to talk about the importance of working families and unions to our political process.
Unions are about being in community and solidarity with other workers, fighting for the rights of the many rather than upholding the power of the few — and that’s exactly what inspired me to get into this race in the first place.
Will you make a contribution to this campaign and help fight for more pro-worker representation in Congress? When I get to Washington, I’ll be a voice for the working people of the Rio Grande Valley, and with attacks on working families coming from all sides, that’s exactly what we need.

We need someone who is going to go all-out to strengthen the position of unions and working families — and Monica De La Cruz has proven time and again that she does not represent working families in Congress.
In fact, Monica has co-sponsored national right-to-work legislation that undermines collective bargaining and takes away rights from working people. The real purpose of this kind of legislation is to shift the balance of power in favor of corporations and rig the system against working people.
Hard working South Texans deserve an economy that works for them, not only for the people at the top. Unions are a crucial part of protecting the interests of working people, and we need representatives in Congress who will protect the interests of working people everywhere.
Folks, I’ll never stop fighting for mi gente. But to get to Washington where I can fight to protect working people and unions, I need your support. Will you chip in right now to make sure TX-15 has a representative who will be pro-worker?
¡Vamos por Quince!
