I'll be honest, John—
Fundraising is one of the worst parts of this job, but just a few moments from now I’ll have to ask you to make a donation.
Give me a chance to explain: I’m not asking this often because I like it. I do it because national Republicans and out-of-state super PACs are pledging to spend outrageous amounts of money to attack my character and the only chance we have to respond is by collecting grassroots donations from a whole lot of people.
John, my opponents will try to turn me into someone I'm not, because they can’t beat who I am.
I’m a third-generation farmer, the Senate’s only working dirt farmer, and I’ll never stop fighting for the hardworking people that call Montana home.
Since we officially launched my reelection campaign, tens of thousands of people all over the country have chipped in to support us. That’s something I’m proud of, and it means that I’ll have a fighting chance to stand up to the millions of dollars the GOP will spend against me.
But we can’t slow down, not even for a minute, because experts are already saying that this will be the most expensive election in Montana’s history.
So with all eyes on our race, I have to ask, can I count on you to make a split donation between my campaign and Seth Moulton right now to help us reach our goal in a few days? This is important. I need your help. [[link removed]]

Thanks for everything you do for our campaign. We’ve built a great team in Montana that relies on grassroots donations to keep us in the fight. Your support really makes a huge difference. I hope you know that.
All my best,
Jon
