I know it doesn't sound like much, friend, but we defended the Senate in 2022 with grassroots gifts as small as this, and that's exactly how we're going to do it again in 2024. Growing up, I got the chance to watch my father, a skilled union ironworker who also served in the New Mexico Legislature, fight for the things he knew were right and bring attention to the things he knew were wrong. He was an unwavering voice for the voiceless and an inspiration to me.

Friend, I knew from a young age that I wanted to follow in his footsteps and be the kind of fearless fighter that he was. So it was an easy decision to pursue a career in public service – first as the representative for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District, and now as your senator. 

But let me tell you – the fight for progress has not been easy. Whether going toe to toe with Big Oil to get our nation on the path to net-zero carbon emissions, fighting to close the gender wage gap, fix the broken immigration system and more, I have pulled more late nights and made more enemies than I can count – and I would do it all again.

And now, I'm calling on you to join me. Friend, as your senator, I vow to continue the fight for progress, but we must keep our narrow Senate majority to win the progress we deserve. So I have to ask:
