I’ll get straight to the point, John —

We’re 5 weeks out from our primary here in Louisiana, and we need all hands on deck to prepare for the tough fight ahead.

The truth is: I don’t like asking for money. But after national Republicans dropped $1 million on an ad campaign smearing my record, it’s clear they mean business. They want to flip the governor’s seat and put Louisiana — one of the last Southern states with a Democratic governor — under MAGA control and drive our state into the dirt.

I’ll admit it, they’re fighting hard to win this race. But that’s why we have to fight harder, because we can’t trust a GOP extremist with our future.

So with 5 weeks to go, I’m asking you for $5 — just $1 per week — to help our campaign contact more voters, put up more yard signs, and keep critical momentum going into the primary. Can I count on you to chip in today?

I know we can beat the GOP on the issues. In fact, they know it too — their frontrunner didn’t even show up to debate me because he knows we’ll run circles around his policies and expose him for the extremist he is.

But that won’t stop GOP bosses from flooding our race with their out-of-state MAGA money, and it certainly won’t stop voters from seeing their bogus, truth-distorting ads on TV and social media.
