John,
In a moment, we’re going to ask you to make an urgent $3 donation to Will’s campaign to flip CA-41. We just got some potentially game-changing news about the Republicans’ plan to keep districts like CA-41 red. Please give us minute to explain what’s going on and why your support is so important:
A recently leaked memo unveiled that a Republican super PAC aligned with Kevin McCarthy is launching a new project dubbed “The Blue States Project.” Their plan is to invest upwards of $100 million in “key” districts in traditionally blue states like California.
And yes, their targets include CA-41, John.
Kevin McCarthy and his super PAC allies know their path to keeping the House majority hinges on holding Republican-held seats where local Democrats are surging. And since our race was recently moved to a “Toss Up,” they also know that CA-41 is going to come down to the wire -- and that every dollar is going to matter here.
In light of this news, we're humbly asking you to make your first $3 donation today. Please know that we wouldn’t be asking if this wasn’t critical to Will’s campaign.

When Will ran against Ken Calvert in 2022, he surprised everyone by nearly flipping this seat. But in the end, Calvert’s corporate cash was too much to overcome after the primary when Will became the Democratic nominee.
Headed into 2024, McCarthy knows Calvert is vulnerable. That’s why their goal is to overwhelm us with outside spending, and effectively buy the gavel for another two years.
We don't have to match McCarthy and Calvert's flood of spending dollar for dollar. But we do know what it's going to take to run a winning campaign, and right now we need to keep pushing ahead of this month’s FEC deadline.
Please donate $3 or more to help us keep pace in CA-41, flip this seat, and send Kevin McCarthy into the minority.
