Our team at Equality Federation is pretty great, but have you met our board members?

We have 18 folks from all over the country serving on our boards, making this organization better with their experience working in and outside of the LGBTQ+ movement. 

You can learn more about all of our amazing board members here, but I wanted to introduce you to our newest members. Join me in welcoming them to the Fed Family!

Brielle Winslow-Majette (she/her) currently serves as the Deputy Director of Garden State Equality, which is the largest LGBTQ+ advocacy and education organization in the state of New Jersey. Brielle was named on the Insider NJ’s 2022 Insider OUT 100: LGBTQ Power List, and since has overseen many initiatives helping to bring awareness and solutions to multiple inequities affecting the LGBTQ community. 

Daniel Reyes (he/him) joined The Center (NY) in 2020 as Chief Program Officer, having worked in the non-profit sector for over 20 years. Daniel has extensive experience consulting on community-engaged research to address disparities and social determinants of health among Communities of Color and communities experiencing economic challenges. 

Peyton Rose Michelle (she/her) is a trans woman based in Lafayette, Louisiana. She serves as the first Executive Director of Louisiana Trans Advocates, and is the first openly transgender person to be elected in the state of Louisiana. All-in-all, Peyton combines her talents in advocacy, marketing, and organizing to enact change.

Sharita Gruberg (she/her) is the Vice President of Economic Justice at the National Partnership for Women & Families where she champions policies that promote economic equity throughout women's lives. Sharita serves on the board of the Capital Area Immigrant Rights Coalition and was recognized by the National LGBT Bar Association as one of the 40 Best LGBTQ+ Attorneys Under the Age of 40 in 2019.

We are so lucky to have these folks and others making Equality Federation better every day.
