I know it’s a Saturday, but I just wanted to send a quick message to explain a little bit more about why fundraising is so important to me and my team.

Running for Congress can get expensive. There are a lot of costs involved, like hiring staff, paying for a website, running ads to help get our message out, and so much more.

And while my extremist opponent, Beth Van Duyne, has over $1 million in her campaign’s war chest, we don’t. Instead of selling out to corporate donors and special interest groups, our campaign relies on grassroots support from everyday folks like you to fuel our success.

We face a crucial FEC public fundraising deadline at the end of this month, so every dollar we raise is critical. With that in mind, will you chip in $5 or whatever you can today to support our campaign?
