John - Last week, nearly 50 mayors from across Georgia sent Governor Kemp a letter [[link removed]] , pleading with him to take action on gun violence in our state.
Mayors from small towns and big cities, liberals and conservatives, are asking the Governor to pass gun laws and increase funding for mental health, in the hope of limiting the violence that has grown all too common here in Georgia.
Will you join these mayors in asking Governor Kemp and state lawmakers to take action by adding your name as a citizen co-sponsor today? [[link removed]]

In Georgia, and across the country, we’ve seen countless lives taken and families torn apart due to senseless gun violence. And all the while, we’ve watched leaders like Brian Kemp do nothing.
Too many leaders in our statehouse are more beholden to the NRA and the gun lobby than they are to the people they serve - families here in Georgia who are sick and tired of watching gun violence ravage our state.
If you, like us, believe that Governor Kemp needs to take action to fund mental health services and pass common-sense gun reform, will you join us in adding your name as a citizen co-sponsor of the mayors’ letter? [[link removed]]
