She just needed a little help and hope to discover what she was capable of.

Hi John,

If you ever wonder what your impact is on moms facing crisis pregnancies, I hope you’ll remember “Annie’s” story. You see, she was in distress.

She and her verbally abusive boyfriend just broke up, and she was pregnant. Though Annie was very upset, deep down she wanted to carry her baby. With no one to turn to, she called our national contact center and was immediately transferred to a nurse.

The nurse listened to her questions, fears, and doubts — all the while responding with grace and compassion.

Still feeling undecided after the phone call, Annie was scheduled for an in-person appointment. While her concerns were valid, she was offered resources and support through the Continuum of Care program. This support  helped alleviate many of her tangible needs. The nurse addressed the issue of her safety and was able to refer her to a local organization that helps women who have suffered abuse.

Then Annie had the opportunity to see her baby for the first time during an ultrasound. She also got to hear the baby’s heartbeat. And that was the moment when everything changed...

She was overcome with emotion and began to cry.

No longer was this baby inside her just a clump of cells. No longer was it just a compilation of tissue. No, this was a human being, and it was a gift from God.

Still unsure of how she would support her baby, she knew she couldn’t go through with an abortion. It simply was no longer an option. Throughout her pregnancy, Annie was able to stay with a close friend and met regularly with her Continuum of Care Coordinator who checked in on her and provided her with the support she needed.

Six months later, Annie delivered a healthy baby girl!

There are still many moms out there like Annie are seeking an abortion and have not yet found the support and resources they need to choose life. The abortion industry is trying to reach these moms right now too. They are seeking to paint abortion as the only option so that more moms abort their children.

But that’s where you can make a lifesaving difference today. Your financial gift can provide the next mom like Annie with the resources she needs to overcome her challenges and choose life. Will you give right now to serve the next mom facing an unexpected pregnancy? Will you give and empower her to choose life for her baby today? www.HumanCoalition.org/bts-2023 ( [link removed] )
