Disgraced Congressman George Santos and his former campaign aide, both indicted by federal prosecutors, appear to be in plea talks with the government, according to court papers filed this week.
Santos has been charged with wire fraud, money laundering, and theft of public funds.
Despite this, he continues to claim that he won’t resign from Congress -- declaring boldly that he plans to run and win again in 2024.
