Growing up as the son of a butcher and a school bus driver, I learned early on about hard work, determination, and the value of community. But I also came to understand how those without power or influence can be overlooked by political systems that sometimes seem more broken than the roads we drive on.
My time as a Recon Marine officer instilled in me a sense of duty and a commitment to serve. A resolve to stand tall, speak the truth, and do what's right, no matter the odds. These roots fuel my drive to bring genuine change to City Hall.
During a recent block walk, we came face-to-face with a glaring example of our city's neglect: a broken water main, flooding a street for weeks on end. Residents told me of their struggles to shower or wash clothes due to water pressure issues, all while watching thousands of gallons go to waste. It's a stark reminder of why we need change and why I'm in this fight.
