Dear Friend,

74 years ago today an atomic bomb dropped on the city of Hiroshima, killing over a hundred thousand innocent men, women and children.

Watch our video ([link removed]) to hear from a survivor of the bombs and please make a donation today ([link removed]) to help win a world where this horror will never happen again.

The only way to prevent another Hiroshima is to get rid of all nuclear weapons. This is why we campaign tirelessly to see them abolished, so the world can be free from the fear of nuclear annihilation.

But to do this, we need your help. Make a donation today ([link removed]) and you can help ensure that future generations never have to endure the horrors experienced at Hiroshima.

Our work towards achieving a nuclear-free world is as urgent as ever, and your donation will make this work possible. This week alone, CND groups are staging over 60 events taking place across the UK to commemorate the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki - work that is made all the more important in a week that has seen Donald Trump scrap a flagship US-Russia arms control treaty.

So please, if you can, make a contribution ([link removed]) to help fund our crucial campaigns - It could do so much.

I hope I can count on your support.

In peace,
Kate Hudson
General Secretary
