Our new video contains a trigger warning. Here’s why: it depicts a mass shooter preparing to enter a school. I know, this video is hard to watch. It should be.
But here’s the truth: Our kids have to deal with hard things every day. My first grader learned about her class’s active shooter plan on the first day. And just last week we watched UNC students jump out of windows to flee a gunman. As the adults in their lives, we should be fighting every day to protect them from the threat of gun violence.
That’s why Renee and I released this ad, to inspire that action. Now, we need your help to make sure that everyone else sees it and channels their anger by voting out weak politicians beholden to the NRA.
