In a critical update, we now know that Donald Trump's criminal trial in
Georgia will be aired live on national TV.^1
Trump faces 13 felony charges in Georgia related to his criminal
conspiracy to unlawfully overturn the results of the 2020 presidential
election, including charges under Georgia's RICO statute, most often used
to prosecute mob activity and other organized crime.^2
This will be the trial of the century.
Millions of voters will be tuning in. And it gives us a golden opportunity
to get the truth out about Trump's crimes and educate voters about the
GOP's complicity in his attempt to destroy our democracy.
While District Attorney Fani Willis will make the case against Trump and
his criminal co-conspirators, we can help counter the rampant MAGA
disinformation about Trump's crimes and also make the case against the
Republican leaders in Congress and on the campaign trail who have
supported his criminal behavior and shielded him from accountability.

livestreaming of their proceedings, unlike the federal courts where Trump
faces dozens of other criminal charges.
That's why experts predict this will be the most-watched trial
in U.S. history.
One expert on the First Amendment noted, "There will literally be far more
eyes on this trial" than on any before.^3
With millions of key voters sure to be glued to their screens during the
trial, it is critical that we combat MAGA's baseless lies that the
criminal prosecutions are witch hunts and educate the electorate about
Trump's crimes. It's also critical we show voters the role that other
leading Republicans have played in enabling Trump's crimes and corruption.
