"It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure."

– 2 Samuel 22:33
Africa & Europe

Pray for the ongoing civil award cases for the compensation of victims in Kenya who have suffered violence at the hands of the police. Victims of police violence have often suffered not only physically, but also economically as they have to pay medical bills, take time off to travel to court, and have sometimes faced ostracism in their communities or workplaces that has affected their ability to earn a livelihood. These victims of police abuse of power are entitled to receive compensation, but some of these cases have been delayed within the courts or through long bureaucratic processes within government offices. Pray for these important processes to be prioritized so that victims can receive compensation due to them.
Latin America

Praise God for the opportunity to consult with survivors of violence in Peru about their interest in creating a survivor network chapter. IJM collaborated with Kids Alive to facilitate a meeting for 18 women who live in the Amazonian region of Peru. The survivors were very enthusiastic about the opportunity to raise their voices, and they were exceedingly grateful for the care of their children during the meeting. Please pray that God will guide them in the next steps, which include defining the group structure, responsibilities and actions to expand protection for women and children in the region.
South Asia

Praise God for local officials who recently led an anti-trafficking campaign across 26 districts and freed 33 people from forced labor. Authorities found victims being exploited in diverse industries, including stone quarries and shrimp farms. We are so grateful for how these officials worked proactively to bring these victims to safety and help them return home! Pray for all these children, women and men as they resettle in safety, and pray for more success from these trained local officials.
Asia Pacific

Please pray for our Philippines team as they prepare to launch a groundbreaking new study. The Scale of Harm study reveals the significant national prevalence of trafficking of children to produce new child exploitation material in the Philippines. However, it also showcases the impact of the government’s efforts to bring victims to safety and hold perpetrators accountable, with the support of stakeholders like IJM. While progress has been made in the last decade, the study emphasizes the need for accelerated action against this crime. We boldly pray that this study reaches the right people and inspires action to eliminate this crime in the near future.
IJM Global Office & Partners

The IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Please join us in prayer for our global offices as they seek to fill crucial positions during this season. Whether it's in marketing, donor relations or data insights, we ask for God's guidance and blessings upon each hiring team and the individuals being interviewed for these vacant roles. May God bestow His favor upon these teams and individuals throughout the hiring process and grant them peace, knowing that His timing is perfect.

The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them,
please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
