If I had listened to the skeptics and talking heads, I would not be where I am today running in the third closest House race in the country against one of the most vulnerable Republicans up for reelection.

But I am sick and tired of being represented by an extremist Republican who’s more concerned with scoring headlines on Fox News than getting the job done for Michigan’s working families.

Families are more concerned with putting food on the table, accessing affordable health care, and retiring with dignity than the latest GOP culture war.
