Summer made history last year when she became the first Black congresswoman elected in Pennsylvania, beating out millions of dollars in corporate PAC spending against her. She didn’t let it slow her down one bit — she got to Washington and has been fighting for working class people day and night since taking office in January. So why am I supporting Summer?

As a true advocate for the people, Summer Lee has always taken on big fights with wealthy and powerful corporations who put profits over the lives of working people. She even led the call for accountability for Norfolk Southern after the East Palestine Train Derailment earlier this year.

Summer has also introduced three crucial bills in her short time in office — the Hazard Pay for Health Care Workers Act, the Equality in our Laws Act,and the Bipartisan Abandoned Well Remediation Act — which passed through the Science, Space, and Technology committee with a unanimous, bipartisan vote. She's also co-led over a dozen bills, including legislation to make sure billionaires pay their fair share in taxes.

And this is all in just the 9 months since she took office.

We’re already seeing right-wing, billionaire-backed super PACs pour money into stopping our movement's fight for justice this cycle, but we can’t let them win. We’ve beat them before — we must do it again.
