As a true follower of Christ, your job and who you are in Christ are inseparable.
The author C. S. Lewis stated, “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
This is the truth we all know, for it is through our belief in Jesus Christ that we gain the strength to face what must be faced without resorting to falsehoods.
Our strength granted to us by God is our armor, which permits us to meet the challenges of life and address the problems of our nation and the world.
The lack of faith-driven judgements in our nation’s capital explains why the problems we face as a nation continue to pile up.
Our leaders in Washington are driven by self-interest and lack the moral clarity and courage to meet the challenges of the day.
Though times are tough and the state of our nation is bleak, I know that with a principled, faith-driven Congress we can get America back on track - are you with me?
