It has been another busy week at America First Legal.

This week, we filed a major lawsuit targeting widespread illegal and racist employment practices in the entertainment business. AFL’s client in this case is a behind-the-camera electrician who, according to the complaint, was discriminated against because of his race by Something Ideal, Inc., Meta Platforms, Inc., the Association of Independent Producers (AICP), and BBDO. We will continue to fight for equality for all Americans.

On Wednesday, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) issued a demand letter to the National Archives for unredacted documents related to the Office of the Vice President's involvement with Hunter Biden and his personal business dealings. Over a year ago, we launched a multi-front FOIA investigation, seeking records from the National Archives related to President Biden’s time as Vice President. When the National Archives refused to comply, we sued them. Thanks to our hard-hitting investigation and lawsuit, Congress is now taking action to uncover these records so the American people can have full transparency on the Biden family's corruption.

We also launched a new investigation by filing a new FOIA request with the Department of Defense regarding Joe Biden’s apparent use of private email accounts for official business during his time as Vice President in the Obama Administration. Finally, we filed a brief in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to support women's sports from biological men. Keep reading for more highlights from our week!
