We are not going to be distracted by these attacks. They only underscore the importance and impact of the lawsuit we filed in Colorado on behalf of six brave Republican and unaffiliated voters this week to ensure that the Constitution's qualifications for the presidency are enforced.

This week, we took a stand for the Constitution and for our democracy. We sued Trump in Colorado, making the strong case that Trump's actions leading up to and on January 6th, 2021 disqualify him from the presidency under the 14th Amendment.

Our lawsuit is an effort to enforce the 14th Amendment's crucial safeguard against those who have sworn to protect the Constitution and then engaged in insurrection against it, as Trump did.

Trump's latest attacks only highlight the urgency of our work.

Nothing in this post is accurate. But having witnessed Trump’s lies over the past several years, we are not surprised that when faced with a serious legal challenge, this is how he reacts. In fact, his attacks show just how seriously he takes our case – if he wasn’t worried, he wouldn’t be lashing out.

We’re not going to let anything distract us. We look forward to making the strongest case possible in court to disqualify Trump from the ballot, and doing it soon.
