Dear Friends,
As summer comes to a close and students head back to class, my colleagues and I are also heading back to Washington to deliver for our communities. It was an honor to visit with so many of our neighborhoods and community leaders during the August district work period, and I am eager to take your priorities back to the Capitol and advocate for you.
September 16th Government Resource Fair

Join my office for our upcoming Government Resource Fair in Matteson, on September 16th, from 10:00AM-2:00PM, at 20600 Matteson Ave, Matteson IL 60443. This event will be held at Colin Powell Middle School, during Elementary School District 159 and the Matteson Community Center's Matteson Community Health and Appreciation Fair.
As a part of the event, the Office of the Illinois Secretary of State will be providing the following services:
- Driver's License (Renewal, Duplicate, Corrected)
- State Identification Card (First time, Renewal, Duplicate, Corrected)
- Vehicle Registration Stickers (Registration expiring within the current year)
- Organ & Tissue Donor/Voter Registration (Only with License or ID Application)

High School Gun Violence Prevention Discussion
With the start of the new school year, I sat down with high school students in Danville to hear what they want Congress to do to keep our schools safe from gun violence. Our youth are on the frontlines of this crisis, and it's essential for me to give voice to our next generation of young leaders.
