John, we are appalled by the Republicans' recent attacks on our trans family and friends.

Since the beginning of 2023 alone, at least 566 bills have been introduced across 49 states with the intent to block trans people from accessing health care, education, or legal recognition, and even from simply existing in public spaces without fear. Of these nearly 600 pieces of legislation, 83 have been successfully passed and 358 remain active in their respective legislative chambers.

After years of calculated attacks on our reproductive freedom, it should come as no surprise that GOP lawmakers are using bigotry, inflammatory rhetoric, and dangerous (and baseless) fear tactics to justify anti-trans legislation. It's all the same agenda: to destroy our bodily autonomy.
