John,
No matter who we are or how we vote, we all want leaders who LISTEN to us.
That’s why, here in Beaufort, South Carolina, we just kicked off our Lowcountry Listening Tour, an opportunity to listen to the working people I’m seeking to represent.
We’re meeting with as many people as possible – but until we can chat in person, please take our very quick Issues Survey and let us know what’s on your mind ahead of this critical election. Our team reads every single response!

For our Lowcountry Listening Tour kickoff, we gathered at the Gullah Geechee Visitor Center in Beaufort.
(That’s me, by the way, in the bottom right corner, taking notes.)
Our group included folks of all ages and walks of life, but we had so much in common. We discussed book bans, gun violence prevention, price gouging, the disgraceful attacks on our reproductive freedom and voting rights, and more.
I truly believe that the more we listen to working people – not just party leaders and big donors – the better chance we have to win this competitive district next year.
Your survey responses are incredibly helpful as we build this people-powered, grassroots-funded campaign. Please take a minute to tell us what’s most important to you in this election →

Thank you for everything you do,
– Michael
P.S. Quick fundraising update: We fell short of our grassroots fundraising goal last month, so we’ve got to catch up ASAP! Can you chip in $5 or any amount before midnight tonight? This is a grassroots-funded campaign – every little bit helps.
