PRIORITY CHARTER SCHOOL COPPERAS COVE

I visited Priority Charter School in Copperas Cove this week for an early celebration of Constitution Day. I provided pocket Constitutions to the students and presented the school with an American flag flown over the United States Capitol in their honor. I discussed the importance of our Constitution and the oath I took to support and defend it as their U.S. representative. It was a joy to spend time with these students, and I hope they never forget the importance of learning and preserving our history.

TEXAS GAME WARDEN TRAINING ACADEMY

I recently visited the Texas Game Warden Training Academy in Hamilton County. Texas Game Wardens are tasked with managing and conserving the Lone Star State's natural resources and providing hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation opportunities for Texans. I listened in briefly on one of the training classes and toured many of the facilities located on the 200 acres. We also discussed future training needs and how, as their representative, I can support them. I'm proud to have this facility in my district and support these outstanding law enforcement officers.
