In 2021, Rob was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom to serve as California’s Attorney General, and with support from folks like you, the people elected him to a full four-year term last November.

As Attorney General, Rob’s job is two-fold: he serves as the People’s Attorney and as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for our state. Day in and out, Rob is working tirelessly to make our neighborhoods safe, hold corporate greed accountable in court, and fight for the rights of every Californian, including the right to reproductive freedom, clean air and water, affordable health care, and vote in free and fair elections.

In his first two years in office, Rob has wasted no time in taking on Big Pharma, fossil fuel companies and other big polluters, corporations harming workers and ripping off consumers, and far-right extremists infringing on our most basic rights.

When he isn’t working, Rob is busy taking his kids to school and baseball practice, and spending time with his family.

He won his 2022 race with grassroots people power, and that’s how he intends to win again in 2026.
