*What's New:*

As part of my efforts and work to
bring fiscal sanity and accountability to Congress, I am cosponsoring
the bipartisan* *Fiscal State of the Union* *Resolution **which
requires the head of the Government Accountability Office to annually
present the nation's current and projected fiscal situation to
Congress.

Why It Matters: *

Washington D.C. has a major spending problem and I
will not stand idly by as we squander our children's future with
crushing deficits and endless debt.

This is about educating members of
Congress and the American people on the full extent of the nation's
fiscal crisis and getting to the bottom of what is driving our *over $23
trillion debt *so we can *get our nation's fiscal house in
order*

What's Next:*

I am committed to reining in out-of-control government
spending and bringing more accountability and transparency to Washington
D.C. I will work with my Senate colleagues to get this resolution
through.
