As many of you may know, Kathy Hochul recently met with the Biden Administration to discuss New York's ongoing migrant crisis.

Her main concern was "securing expedited work authorization for asylum seekers and migrants!"

Our NYGOP Chair, Ed Cox, responded promptly, pointing out the glaring flaw in Governor Hochul's approach. Instead of focusing on protecting our taxpayers and ensuring that our state's resources are used judiciously, she continues to prioritize policies that encourage illegal migration at the expense of our citizens.

It's troubling to note that the 1981 legal settlement granting an automatic ‘right to shelter’ was never intended to force New York taxpayers to provide housing for illegal immigrants and asylum seekers from all corners of the world. Yet, Hochul's administration, in tandem with New York Democrats, is encouraging such practices.

Enough is enough!
