For years, Medicare was blocked by law from negotiating lower drug prices for older Americans. But now, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare has the tools needed to bring down the cost of key drugs. These medications vary from drugs that treat heart failure, to arthritis, to Crohn’s disease.

This is a historic step forward in lowering costs for Americans, but it’s just the beginning.
