We all deserve a sweet treat, one that’s microplastics-free!
John,
The plastic crisis is so pervasive that there are microplastics in the water we drink, the food we eat, and even the air we breathe. On average, each of us will consume about a credit card worth of plastic a week. This can cause a variety of dangerous health problems.
Researchers are increasingly finding links between plastic, its toxic additives, and diseases like cancer. And they are finding them everywhere, including in our food, water, and air. We all deserve to be protected from toxins entering our food and drinking water, which is why we are committed to stopping plastics at their source.
Plastic pollution has many scary consequences for our health, our ecosystems, and marine animals – that we shouldn’t have to deal with. By raising our voices together, we can force corporations to change their practices and put people and the planet before their own profits. Together, we can protect our food and water from toxins!
With gratitude,
